The Moussalaha Center hosted, on May 11, 2026, an official Belgian delegation led by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Morocco, Mr. Gilles HEYVAERT.
The delegation was received by the President of the Moussalaha Center, accompanied by the General Coordinator of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners, as well as the Director of the National Institute for the Training of DGAPR Executives.
This high-level meeting led to in-depth discussions on several strategic issues of common interest. The talks highlighted the excellence of Morocco’s experience in combating violent extremism and preventing radicalization, which is now recognized as a pioneering model at both regional and international levels.
The visit also provided a valuable opportunity to present the rigorous methodological approaches adopted by the Moussalaha Center. Both parties engaged in an exchange of perspectives aimed at optimizing the deployment of effective intervention mechanisms to address the challenges related to extremism.
At the end of the this meeting, senior officials reaffirmed their shared commitment to sustaining this partnership dynamic. They emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral coordination, improving the exchange of best practices, and consolidating cooperation on security and reintegration challenges.
