Steering Council
The Center is overseen by a Steering Council, chaired by the Secretary-General of the Mohammadian League of Scholars. This governing body holds both deliberative and decision-making powers, ensuring the independence required for the efficient and effective management of the Center’s activities.
The Steering Council is made up of the permanent partners of the Moussalaha program:
- The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration;
- Mohammadia League of Scholars;
- The Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners;
- The National Human Rights Council;
- The General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance;
The Council’s main responsibilities include the following:
- Define the Center’s strategic direction, including its overarching guidelines and priority actions in line with its mission.
- Establish the Center’s annual and multi-year work programs, and conduct regular evaluations of their implementation.
- Approve the Center’s internal regulations.
- Appoint members of the Scientific Committee.
- Approve the Center’s budget and review its annual financial statements.
- Approve cooperation and partnership agreements concluded by the Center.
- Oversee the Center’s management on an ongoing basis and assess its performance regularly.
- Examine and approve the annual activity report submitted by the Center’s Director.
- Adopt measures aimed at enhancing and improving the quality of the Center’s work.
- Ensure the Center’s accounts and activities are subject to external audit.
- Decide on the acceptance of donations and legacies.
