The Moussalaha Center welcomed, on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, a high-level delegation comprising the Prosecutors General of France, Belgium, and Spain, led by the Prosecutor General of the King at the Rabat Court of Appeal.
Following the reception of the delegation by the President of the Moussalaha Center, the members were briefed on the context surrounding the establishment of the Center, which is the result of a partnership between the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration (DGAPR), the Rabita Mohammadia of Ulema, the National Human Rights Council, the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Reintegration of Prisoners, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The objectives and missions entrusted to the Center were also presented, particularly those aimed at designing and implementing activities intended to carry out strategies and programs for the prevention of violent extremism, as well as the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals convicted in cases related to extremism and terrorism. Special emphasis was placed on the distinctive Moroccan model for addressing this category of inmates, notably the “Moussalaha” rehabilitation program.
This meeting was marked by the screening of an institutional film highlighting the various activities and rehabilitation programs carried out by the Center, as well as by an interactive discussion on different issues related to extremism and terrorism. In this context, the visiting delegation emphasized the importance of continuous coordination and the unification of efforts to confront transnational terrorist threats.
